Our traditional black clay cookware can be used on the stovetop, oven or microwave and is also dishwasher safe!
This flat tray is traditionally used to make arepas, but is also perfect to warm up tortillas. Straight on the flame or in the oven, the black clay retains the heat so you just need a tea towel to cover and keep your tortillas warm!
Beautiful as a serving platter for cheese, fruit, nibbles or treats too!

Black clay comes from La Chamba, a village where more than 1300 artisans bring alive these unique cultural pieces.
Each piece is shaped on the wheel and fired twice, with rice husks added to the second firing to create the deep black. The smooth finish is the result of painstaking hand-burnishing with stones.
