Handwoven in Colombia with love
These beautiful and intrinsic handbags are made by Sandra Aguilar and her family from the Ishipaa Wayuu indigenous people in the remote La Guajira Desert, north of Colombia.
The legend says that the sacred spider taught women the trade of weaving. They continue their connection with their cosmos by weaving the spider web on their handbags.
The colours mean nature and each accessory is a little piece representing the vibrant Colombian culture
The love, traditions and time put on this craft makes it a one of a kind piece!
