The Craft Story
Each basket is handcrafted in Briceño, Boyacá, Colombia, by master Artisan Luz Marina Umaña. Using traditional techniques, she transforms Fique Agave fibres into structured, durable forms that balance strength with natural beauty.
Fique, traditionally used for Colombian coffee sacks, has been reimagined into refined homewares through generations of knowledge and innovation. The Agave plant lives for over 20 years and is harvested sustainably, supporting a circular and environmentally responsible craft process.
