Protect your tablet. Carry a story.
This Wayuu Tablet Crossbody Bag is hand-crocheted by Sandra Aguilar and her family in the Ishipaa Community, La Guajira Desert, Colombia, using intricate punch-needle tapiz — a traditional tapestry technique built from colourful cotton thread. A secure zip closure and fully lined interior protect your tablet or laptop, while the adjustable strap lets you wear it crossbody or carry it flat. No two bags are the same — each one is a wearable piece of Wayuu culture, impossible to mass-produce.

Craft Story
This bag comes from the Ishipaa Community in Colombia's La Guajira Desert, where Wayuu artisan Sandra Aguilar and her family have practised tapiz — an intricate, colour-rich tapestry technique — for generations. Each thread is hand-crocheted and punch-needled by hand, one stitch building on the last until a geometric pattern unique to its maker emerges. No machine can replicate this rhythm, which is why no two Wayuu bags, including this one, are ever quite the same.
