These Iraca Lab Australiana Keyrings are handcrafted in Colombia by the Las Juanitas Single Mothers Association, a collective of highly skilled women artisans renowned for their refined weaving and cultural knowledge.

Each piece begins with the harvesting of Iraca palm (Carludovica palmata), which is naturally dyed and intricately woven by hand into detailed, sculptural animal forms. This technique has been practised for generations, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.

The entirely manual process creates subtle variations in colour, shape and texture — a signature of true craftsmanship that cannot be replicated at scale. Each piece carries both Colombian heritage and a celebration of Australian identity.
