These trays are handcrafted in Briceño, Boyacá, Colombia, by artisan Luz Marina Umaña, a master of Fique fibre craftsmanship. Traditionally used for durable goods such as coffee sacks, Fique agave has been reimagined into refined homewares through intricate hand-crocheting techniques.
Each fibre is sustainably harvested from native agave plants and carefully woven by hand, creating pieces that balance strength, texture and contemporary design. This process reflects centuries of cultural heritage, preserving both tradition and innovation.
