The Craft Story
The Luxe Fedora Panama Hat is handwoven in Sandoná, Nariño — a region renowned for its Iraca Palm weaving tradition. The women of Las Juanitas Single Mothers Association spend over two weeks carefully weaving each hat by hand, using techniques passed down through generations. Each fibre is softened, dyed and intricately interlaced to create a refined, flexible weave with a signature silky finish. This slow, meticulous process cannot be replicated at scale — making every hat a unique expression of cultural heritage and artisan mastery.

Handcrafted Variation Note
Each piece is handcrafted individually, meaning slight variations in tone, texture and measurement (up to 20%) are a natural part of the process — and what makes your piece entirely your own. This is not considered a fault.
Measuring your Head Size:
-
- Place a tape measure at the centre back of your head
- Bring it forward above your ears and below your hairline
- Meet at the centre of your forehead
- Keep the tape firm but not tight for a comfortable fit
