The Craft Story
These Iraca Palm ‘Luxe’ Fruit Napkin Rings are handcrafted in Sandoná, Nariño, Colombia by the Las Juanitas Single Mothers Association, a collective of highly skilled women artisans renowned for their refined weaving and cultural knowledge.
Each piece begins with the harvesting of Iraca palm (Carludovica palmata), which is naturally dyed and meticulously woven by hand into sculptural fruit-inspired forms. This traditional technique has been practised for generations, blending ancestral craftsmanship with contemporary design.
The entirely manual process ensures that no two pieces are identical. Each napkin ring reflects the artisan’s creativity, skill and cultural heritage — bringing story and meaning to your table.
