These Wayuu Pom-Pom Keyrings are handcrafted in the Ishipaa Community, La Guajira Desert, Colombia by Sandra Aguilar and her family, part of the Indigenous Wayuu community known for their rich textile traditions.

Using traditional crochet and macramé techniques, each piece is carefully woven by hand, transforming yarn into soft, sculptural forms full of colour and movement. This practice is deeply rooted in Wayuu culture, inspired by the legend of the sacred spider who taught women to weave.

Each keyring reflects the Artisan’s creativity and storytelling, resulting in unique colour combinations and forms that cannot be replicated at scale.
