The Craft Story 

These Wayuu Disc and Pom-Pom Keyrings are handcrafted in the Ishipaa Community, La Guajira Desert, Colombiaby Sandra Aguilar and her family, part of the Indigenous Wayuu community known for their rich textile traditions.

Using traditional crochet and macramé techniques, each piece is carefully woven by hand, combining colour, geometry and texture into symbolic designs. This practice is deeply rooted in Wayuu culture, inspired by the legend of the sacred spider who taught women to weave.

Each keyring is a personal expression of the Artisan’s creativity, resulting in unique patterns and colour combinations that carry cultural meaning and cannot be replicated at scale.
