Connecting Women Leaders for Global Impact
Casa Bonita at the Women Economic Forum Australia 2025: celebrating women’s leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainable development and economic empowerment.

Casa Bonita was honoured to participate in the Women Economic Forum Australia 2025, joining influential women leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, educators and decision-makers committed to building a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable world.
Held from 19–22 November 2025 across Shepparton, the Parliament of Victoria and Monash University in Parkville, Melbourne, the forum created an important space for collaboration, education and connection.
The 2025 theme, Educate. Innovate. Empower., strongly aligned with Casa Bonita’s mission to economically and socially empower Indigenous artisan women in South America, migrant women in Australia and purpose-led small businesses.
What is the Women Economic Forum?
The Women Economic Forum, also known as WEF, is an international platform that connects women leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, government representatives, innovators and social-impact advocates.
The forum promotes women’s economic empowerment by encouraging cross-sector collaboration, knowledge sharing and partnerships that help women participate more fully in business, leadership, technology, government and community development.
Why women’s economic empowerment matters
When women have access to education, networks, business opportunities and sustainable income, they can strengthen their families, preserve cultural knowledge, create employment and contribute to resilient local and global economies.
Casa Bonita’s contribution at WEF Australia 2025
During the forum, Casa Bonita showcased the three connected areas that define our social-enterprise work: ethical artisan trade, practical business mentoring and the Casa Bonita Women’s Empowerment Hub.
Ethical Artisan Products
We shared handcrafted products created by Indigenous and artisan women in South America using ancestral techniques and sustainable natural materials.
Business Mentoring
Our practical mentoring programs support migrant women, multicultural entrepreneurs and small businesses to build skills, confidence and sustainable sales pathways.
Women’s Empowerment Hub
Through our Learn, Practice and Connect model, women access business education, mentoring, networks and opportunities to participate in the economy.

Connecting women leaders across sectors
One of the most valuable aspects of the Women Economic Forum was the opportunity to hear from and connect with trailblazing women shaping the future of business, politics, education, technology, sustainability and social impact.
These conversations reinforced an important message: meaningful change requires collaboration. When women leaders exchange knowledge, open networks and develop partnerships, their collective impact extends far beyond a single event.
“When women learn, practise and connect, they create stronger businesses, more resilient communities and opportunities for future generations.” Liliana Bravo, Founder of Casa Bonita
