Beautiful handcrafted one of a kind earrings are a statement to your outfit. 

This is a magical technique originated in the South of Colombia. It begins when the fibre collector undertakes the task of acquiring, selecting and adapting the raw material used to make the veneer: the wheat and barley chaff .

With the leaves of the chaff of different colours in the hands of the artisan decorator, they proceed to flatten them with a metal or wooden object, to remove the small lumps of glue that they may have and on a smooth surface, they begin to cut them into thin strips, with the help of a hacksaw or a metal ruler .

Then, with meticulousness and concentration, the craftsman begins to paste one by one, the chaff strips on the piece of wood, guided by the design that he has previously captured on the product or, as the artisans say, following the designs that their “hands already have recorded."
