Separate dough into 10 portions. Take one portion in your hands and shape it into a ball, then press it with your palms to form a large patty shape of about 10 cm (3 1/2 in.) in diameter. Place onto a griddle or frying pan over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side. Brown on both sides and serve hot. Open the arepa and fill it to taste. ENJOY!

Sugar cane lemonade
You will need 8 oz brick of panela, 4-5 cups of water, 3-4 cups of ice and 3-4 juiced limes. Chop the panela into chunks with a large knife (be careful, this stuff can be tricky to cut). Pour the water in a pan and bring to a boil, add the panela, and stir until dissolved. Pour the aguapanela over ice, then add in lime juice, to taste and stir to combine, then serve.
