The Craft Story
These rugs are handcrafted in Curití, Santander, Colombia, by master artisans Blanca and Roland Rincon. Their workshop supports local families through the full production process — from harvesting, drying and preparing the Fique fibres, to hand-looming each piece.
Fique has traditionally been used in Colombia for coffee sacks, and today it is reimagined into refined homewares that honour both heritage and innovation. The result is a textile that is strong, textured and deeply connected to the land and its people.
