Casa Bonita's Handloomed Fique Agave Rugs are handcrafted by our Master Artisans, Blanca and Roland Rincon. They specialise in creating premium and unique rugs, embracing vibrant colour and earthy combinations, organic textures and traditional designs, all with a contemporary aesthetic.

 Their traditional business employs local people to help with the Fique Agave preparation, drying and the hand looming. From the Fique Agave selection to the finished product, each rug creates one day of work for their business.

Casa Bonita's handloomed rugs can be enjoyed and used to style your home, workplace or to any indoor or under cover space.

The Fique fibre threads are made from the native South American Agave plants and are completely sustainable, as the base of the plant lives for over 20 years and is left untouched to avoid deforestation.

Highly skilled Artisans, utilise traditional and cultural techniques to create the robust threads from these Fique Agave plants.

Traditionally used to make the popular Colombian coffee sacks, Artisans developed a detailed process to transform this premium thread into unique and beautiful accessories and homewares.
